Harvard Library Love Data Week 2022

Data + Donuts is a learning and discussion group that offers a welcoming space to engage critically with issues of data and society. Since Fall 2018, HKS Library & Knowledge Services has hosted semi-monthly events that feature data researchers and practitioners facilitating conversations around their area of expertise.

At this session of Data + Donuts, Jeremy will speak about his data visualization newsletter American Inequality, and the steps that changemakers can take to combat inequality in their communities.

SpeakerJeremy Ney currently works at Google and is a recent graduate from MIT Sloan and Harvard Kennedy School (MBA/MPA). Jeremy's research uses maps and data visualization to highlight US inequality topics that tend to get left in the dark - inequality in life expectancy, food deserts, internet access, and more.
