This class is part of the Research Data Management Seminar Series
The question “How do I store my data?” is a simple one but has as many possible answers as there are researchers. Historically, the rate of data being produced is exponential, and data stored at Harvard has doubled annually. Thinking about storage in both the short-term and the long term is necessary, including the costs associated.
This session will touch on some basic best practices for how to keep data secure, provide access, store and back it up. Guests from IT will be on hand to provide school specific options and answer your questions.
Feel free to bring your lunch!
