Harvard Library Love Data Week 2022
Data + Donuts is a learning and discussion group that offers a welcoming space to engage critically with issues of data and society. Since Fall 2018, HKS Library & Knowledge Services has hosted semi-monthly events that feature data researchers and practitioners facilitating conversations around their area of expertise.
At this session of Data + Donuts, Jeremy will speak about his data visualization newsletter American Inequality, and the steps that changemakers can take to combat inequality in their communities.
Speaker: Jeremy Ney currently works at Google and is a recent graduate from MIT Sloan and Harvard Kennedy School (MBA/MPA). Jeremy's research uses maps and data visualization to highlight US inequality topics that tend to get left in the dark - inequality in life expectancy, food deserts, internet access, and more.
